REQUIREMENTS

#1 MUST KNOW JESUS – not just know of Him.  This means that you must spend time with him; talking with him, praying and listening to him; and studying his word. This doesn't mean that you have to graduate from a Bible college.  Jesus told the disciples of the harvest fields in the fourth chapter of John – and they weren't finished with their training yet!

# 2 MUST KNOW THE NEED - if you have repented of your sins, asked Jesus to come into your life to be your Savior and Master, and are living for him… then you know the need…  that they ALL have sinned, and the wages of sin is death. The sinners that you come in contact with have an eternity to spend either with Jesus or in the Lake of Fire! You may very well be the last chance that they have to hear the Gospel!

#3 MUST FEEL THE NEEDS OF OTHERS -  I Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? How much more does this verse apply to the Spiritual then the worldly?  I Thess. 2:8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.

#4 PRAYER – Eph. 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Col. 1:9 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being

fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

James 5:16 the effectual prayer fervent prayer of a righteous man avail us much.

I John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that

we have the petitions that we desired of him. Ask for the salvation of lost souls!

#5 baptism in the Holy Spirit - Acts 1:4 Jesus " commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon

you: and ye shall be witnesses…

If we fail – tie into the the results of Elijah’s failure to do all that God told him to do regarding the anointing of two new kings.  Elisha ended up accomplishing this years (15?) afterward, but many lives were lost as compared to if it was accomplished right when God said to do it.  What this means is that some people may not come to Jesus if delay…
