Understanding - what brings it - wisdom
I Chr. 28:19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.
Ps.111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Pr.20:24 Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?
Ecc. 2:13 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.
Dan. 9:20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; 9:21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
What will hinder understanding – understanding God’s Word and His ways?
Eze 12 12:1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying, 12:2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
