The Light

Isa.9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

I Jn. 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare

unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness,

we lie, and do not the truth:

1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship

one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us

from all sin.

1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is

not in us.

Dan.2:20         Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

Dan.2:21         And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Dan.2:22         He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

Mt.5:13           Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Mt.5:14           Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Mt.5:15           Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Mt.5:16           Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mk. 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear

the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some

sixty, and some an hundred.

4:21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a

bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was

any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
