Lev. 22:9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it,

and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

II Sam. 12:13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And

Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin;

thou shalt not die.
