Who can ask someone else to follow THEM?
Pr. 23:22 Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.
I Cor. 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 4:16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. Paul had the right to say ‘follow me,’ because he brought those believers to a saving knowledge of Christ. He did not say that to people who Peter (for example) brought in.
Phil. 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. |

Heb. 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jn.15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. (these signs shall follow them – same way true disciples bear much fruit, even if we do not always see it in our lifetime… I Tim.5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. 25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.)
